As for the U.S. market, it is extremely absorbent and competitive. Production in the USA is at a high level, but Asian manufacturers \u2013 especially Japanese brands like Lexus or Toyota \u2013 aren&#8217;t just &#8220;having a chance,&#8221; they are already effectively satisfying this market. This stems from the fact that they offer the legendary quality and reliability that American drivers crave. Asian manufacturers also perfectly understand the needs of consumers here, offering a wide range of SUVs and hybrids.<\/p>\n<p><b>You work with car companies, so you surely know more about cars than the average buyer. Let&#8217;s start with car prices, they are rising, but people still need to drive. So: how do you see the future of the automotive industry, specifically regarding EVs? Are there other conditions to consider? Electric cars aren&#8217;t the only topic.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Paul Sidorski:<\/b> It\u2019s true, car prices have gone up, which is due to global economic factors and the technological advancement of new vehicles. Regarding the future, electrification is inevitable, and Lexus is entering the EV (BEV) era strong, with the RZ model being a prime example. However, I believe that EVs aren&#8217;t the only path right now. Hybrids, a field where Lexus is a global pioneer, as well as plug-in hybrids, are still excellent and often more practical solutions for many families, combining fuel economy with no need for constant charging on the road.
